I was going to wait until I had finished tiling this wall before blogging pictures but I was so excited about how good the tile picture looked I couldn’t wait to show it off. This is the last wall in the kitchen/lounge/dining room that needs to be done. Once the tiling is finished, all that will need to be done is the trim, plumbing and gas to the stove and it will be good to go.

I was very worried I might break a tile which would have been a disaster considering the difficulty of replacing a single hand painted tile. But all was good and the result looks great.

It is getting dark around 1700 now so I am working under lights. My knees and back are loving being able to tile standing up instead of all bent up under a bench.

The problem is the benches and tiles were levelled with a laser and are so level everything else looks a bit crooked. Oh well it still looks fabulous and Jo loves it, which is the most important thing.
