I have been thinking for quite a while now how to tackle the corner of the deck railing. It is a little troublesome as the corner is mitred and cut out around the post. Also the rail on the long side is nearly 6m and if I stuff it I ruin a long, expensive piece of steel. But you can only agonise over such things for so long before you just have to bite the bullet and cut some steel.
So I measured twice plus a few more times, cut a few test pieces to adjust metal off cut saw to cut a perfect mitre, cut a test piece which worked, then cut the short rail of the corner.
Which fitted!!
Now I am fairly certain I have figured out how to do this I will tackle the long piece.
Cheers
