Software Defined Radio Tuning HF

Well DOD is going to be as jealous as hell. I have made a long wire antenna and now can use the Ham IT UP up converter to tune GQRX to the HF bands. I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to calculate the offset so I could direct tune a station but once I had found a station with a known frequency this was easy. As well as the commercial broadcast stations I managed to tune I did hear one CQ CQ from a female Ham but I missed her call sign.

Enjoy the video. I love the waterfall display.

Cheers

Franky
