We found the base for the ensuite vanity in the local antique shop. Its not really old it just happened to be perfect for what we wanted. I needed to do some modifications with the angle grinder but Jo is very happy with the end result. I just need to cut the hole in the glass top for the basin waste with a diamond hole saw which is the tricky bit.

Typical bloke all the diamonds I have bought are on saws. One day Jo will get some for her finger and ears.

There will be a huge gilt mirror above the basin – when we have found one we like.
